Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt-3 Ligand or Flt3L) is a cytokine that is involved in the regulation of hematopoiesis. It stimulates the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of various early myeloid and lymphoid progenitor cells. Flt3L is commonly used in the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into dendritic cells.

Qkine Flt3L 14 day stability
- Flt3L stored at stored at room temperature (EC50 0.89 ng/ml) didn’t lose bioactivity compared to -80 °C storage (EC50 0.76 ng/ml).
- No loss of activity was seen with Flt3L stored at room temperature with multiple freeze thaws (EC50 0.96 ng/ml) compared to -80°C (control, EC50 1.04 ng/ml).
- SDS-PAGE showed no degradation of Flt3L was visible after 14 days under these conditions.
Flt3L remained stable and bioactive for 14 days at room temperature and with multiple freeze-thaws. Bioactivity was determined using the proliferation of AML5 human myeloid leukemia cells. Cells were treated in triplicate with a serial dilution of Flt3L (Qk087) for 72 hours. (A) Stored at room temperature (RT) or -80 °C (control). (B) Stored at room temperature with 4 freeze-thaw cycles (RT/FT) or -80°C (control). Firefly luciferase activity was measured and normalized. (C) 3 µg was resolved on a 15% w/v SDS-PAGE gel under non-reduced conditions and stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue R250. Data from Qk087 lot #204633.
